Arc de Triomphe: This is probably the world's largest roundabout, with 12 avenues radiating from its central point. Climb the viewing platform for a great Parisian view.

Eiffel Tower: 3 levels of the tower are open to the public, but you can avoid the queues by walking up to the 2nd level
Catacombes: Got overflowing cemeteries? Then simply exhume the bones and move them to the tunnels of several disused quarries, which are now open to the public in the form of a fascinating bone-laden tour.
The Pompidou Centre: The building with its insides on the outside! Recently refurbished, the top floors of this homage to culture and art offer spectacular views of Paris.
