Poble Nou - Port Olimpic

Poblenou and the Olympic Port, in occasion of the Olympic Games of 1992, underwent a considerable transformation and opened themselves to the sea. The factories and the old industrial docks transformed themselves in a new residential quarter, giving to Barcelona a seaside space. Now it is possible to find excellent seafood restaurants, bars, discos and casino. An enormous whale of bronze dominates the entrance to the Olympic Port, a good place for shopping and going out at night.
